Our client Mr. Esposito was having issues with his Mississauga home. There was humidity in the northwest corner of his house and some water infiltration in the spring, he suspected it had something to do with his uninsulated crawl space. While searching the internet for a solution, he came across our website and filled out our form. We promptly gave him a call and offered him a free inspection and quote. Upon inspecting the problematic areas in the home, our specialist Thanusyan decided the best plan would be to encapsulate the crawl space with CleanSpace® Crawl Space Vapor Barrier and CleanSpace® Crawl Space Drainage Matting System in order to keep out the humidity and water infiltration. The CleanSpace® Crawl Space Vapor Barrier reduces moisture, seals out winter drafts, and is versatile for walls and floors. With a durable 20mil thickness, 7-layer polyethylene composition, and polyester cord reinforcement, it works for both basement and crawl space walls. The CleanSpace® Crawl Space Drainage Matting comprises a dimpled drainage matting system strategically crafted to gather water from the crawl space floor and guide it towards a sump pump and the surrounding perimeter drainage pipe. Mr. Esposito agreed with this proposition, and we booked a time to complete the installation. Our foreman Colin then went to Mississauga at the scheduled time and installed all agreed components. His crawl space fully waterproofed, Mr. Esposito no longer has to worry about humidity coming from his crawl space or water infiltration. Another job well done by our Basement Systems Toronto team.
When relentless floods visited this Grand Valley home, the distressful repetitions became unbearable – as showcased in the before photo. Resolute in not facing a third repeat, the homeowner turned to us for a robust turnout. Notice in the photo how the incorporation of our TripleSafe Sump Pump along with IceGuard transformed this vulnerable basement into a fortress against water. Undeterred by the might of any flood hereafter, this space is now secure, dry, and committed to lasting relief.
Before, this Caledon home's crawl space was damp, dirty, and uninsulated—barely accessible and far from the ideal. Owners yearned for a transformation, not just in cleanliness but also in functionality, hoping to incorporate lasting protection against moisture and improve the home's overall health. With our CleanSpace system, the transformation was stark—notice in the after photo how pristine and protected it looks. Our foreman Colin and his team encapsulated the area with CleanSpace, turning a messy, damp crawl space into a clean, dry, and insulated area, proving once more that no space is too challenging for us to revamp.
Mrs. Houle, located in Brampton, Ontario, was having humidity issues in her dirt crawl space and she needed a replacement for her old sump pump. Like most people, she went searching the internet for someone that could help her out. In this search, she came across our website and contacted us through our webchat. We quickly scheduled a specialist to come by for a free quote & inspection. Our skilled specialist George travelled to Mrs. Houle’s home and inspected the dirt crawl space. He determined that the best plan would be to fully encapsulate the crawl space using CleanSpace crawl space vapor barrier and drainage matting, as well as other products like SilverGlo insulation, a SmartSump crawl space sump pump system, an IceGuard® sump pump discharge system, and EZ-Flow piping system. Mrs. Houle accepted George’s proposition and we scheduled a date for the installation.
Our foreman Colin and his team arrived at the home to complete the installation. First, they dug a small trench in the ground and inside they laid the EZ-Flow piping system. Next, they dug a pit to install the SmartSump crawl space sump pump system. On the walls, they added SilverGlo insulation to keep the home warm. Then, they laid the CleanSpace drainage matting over the entirety of the dirt crawl space floor. On top, they added a layer of CleanSpace crawl space vapor barrier, ensuring there would be no moisture seeping through from the dirt crawl space floor. Finally, they added an IceGuard® sump pump discharge line system on the outside of the home, ensuring that the discharge line would not freeze, and water could safely exit, no matter the weather. Thanks to our hardworking team at Basement Systems Toronto, our client Mrs. Houle can finally enjoy her home without worrying about her humid crawl space.
