Faced with an old and noisy sump pump in their basement, a client in Scarborough soke our help for a long-term solution. During the inspection, our specialist, thoroughly explained the risks associated with a malfunctioning sump pump, including the potential for basement flooding, as infiltrating water would not be properly discharged outside the house. To address this issue, we recommended the installation of our SuperSump sump pump system, along with the UltraSump backup pump that remains operational even in the event of a power outage. The system was then installed by our foreman, Colin, and connected to a discharge line equipped with our patented IceGuard system, which protects the discharge line from freezing under extreme cold conditions.

Mr. Rupee, located in Richmond Hill, Ontario, found us through our Facebook advertising and decided to reach out because he was having water infiltration problems in his basement. We offered to come by for a free inspection in order to check out the situation. Our specialist Steve headed to his home in Richmond Hill to conduct the inspection and provide a free estimate. After a thorough inspection of the basement, it was decided that the most effective treatment plan would be to install a WaterGuard system along the perimeter of the basement, as well as a new sump pump system, and finally some Mold-X2 mold treatment.
Our foreman Colin and his team then went to complete the installation at a time that was suitable for our client. First, they carefully removed the drywall and dug a trench along the walls where the WaterGuard system was to be installed. They then placed the WaterGuard in the dug trench. After the WaterGuard was neatly installed, they removed the old sump pump system and installed a new TripleSafe™ sump pump system in its place. Finally, they added the Mold-X2 treatment in order to clean the contaminated surfaces and prevent mold from regrowing. After all installations were completed, our team poured cement to fill the trenches that were dug, and they also restored the drywall that was removed. Mr. Rupee can now enjoy the comfort of his home without worrying about the consequences of water infiltration and mold. Another job well done by our team at Basement Systems Toronto.
