Their beloved cottage was suffering from a significant settlement issue, causing the floor to drop about four inches from the entrance to the end wall. Solution

Our System Design Specialist, armed with experience and expertise, conducted a thorough examination of the property to pinpoint the exact cause and location of the foundation’s failure. With a clear understanding of the problem, we recommended a tailored solution using our SmartJack and SilverGlo products.

SmartJack, a robust and adjustable steel pier, was the ideal choice to stabilize and lift the sagging floor joists, effectively re-leveling the cottage. SilverGlo was used to insulate and protect the underside of the house, providing both immediate and long-term benefits. Our skilled production team carefully implemented these solutions, resulting in a remarkable transformation. The four-inch drop was corrected, restoring the cottage’s structural integrity and giving the homeowner peace of mind.
