The recommended solution was a combination of our IceGuard system and the SmartSump pump. The IceGuard system is designed to allow water to exit from the sump pump discharge line even if the pipe freezes or becomes blocked, a frequent problem during cold Ontario winters. Paired with the SmartSump, this setup would ensure efficient water removal, keeping the crawl space dry in all conditions.
